Fine Lines...

This has been a very long overdue post, but I really took it into great thinking that I would share this very dream of mine on my special day. When I turned 21 (actually 30) last year, I tried to check my list of the things I wanted to achieve in my life. A lot of it were done, nothing really crazy. Just simple dumb things a young kid would love to do and project his life upon. One thing I wasn't able to manage was to get inked by nonetheless Mister Cartoon.

I have been trying to get  booking  since 3 years ago, but never had a chance to get one. It was getting very depressing since I can only go to LA for a certain amount of time in every year. It was also getting old as I tell people that are close to me that I wasn't able to make it every year. It freak'n dreaded me. Some time July last year (2012) I hit up HUNTER to get a schedule for Toon, but disappointedly got a reply that the dates I  was looking at won't be possible. So I told him "I'll be in LA this week, just incase Toon will have a slot in anytime of the day or night I would love to rush over wherever he's at..". HUNTER politely replied, "OK, we'll see how it goes...".

I just really went to myself, "Shiiiiii.... this ain't happening ever..."

Sometimes there are just some things that miraculously take it upon itself to make things just happen. 2nd day in LA, hangin' out at RIF LA, my homeboy Joseph a.k.a RADYO! clothing told me to turn around, and there you go.... LEGENDARY MISTER CARTOON was droppn' in gettin' some new J's... Then it was history.

Got invited, and here's how it went down.

Sorry, If I haven't elaborated on things... I really just wanna give Toon the outmost privacy of what he shared with me (the shop, things we talked about, all the things he showed me). I think for you guys have the full end of things, do try to hit up HUNTER for a booking. Asst@mistercartoon.com
